Online Information Center on ECVET

Welcome to the interactive app on the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). This portal replaced the website of the National Team of ECVET Experts, which operated in the years 2014-2020 and is a summary of the experts’ activities.

We learn anytime, anywhere, throughout our lives. If we describe our skills, knowledge and competences well, they testify to the effects of our learning, they are our achievements and a ticket to good work.

The Polish Team of ECVET Experts was established in 2012 under an agreement signed between the Foundation for the Development of the Education System and the European Commission. The Team was composed of 9 Experts nominated by the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The project was implemented until March 31, 2014, and its main goals are to promote the development and implementation of the ECVET system as an element of the idea of lifelong learning and the strategy “Europe 2020 implementation of actions indicated in the Recommendation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 June 2009 in on the establishment of a European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). As of April 1, 2014, the activities of the ECVET Expert Team are included in the Erasmus + Work Plan. The main tasks of the Experts include the continuation and dissemination of the results of work carried out in 2012-2014, popularizing information on ECVET, supporting national authorities in the further development of the ECVET system in Poland, supporting the implementers of professional mobility projects, promoting the ECVET system among employers. The Polish Team of ECVET Experts functions within the structure of the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (www.frse.org.pl).

The main purpose of the application is to create an interactive, public and easy-to-use repository for storing, depositing and disseminating the results of the work of the Polish Team of ECVET Experts in the years 2014 – 2020. The application is characterized by the possibility of secure online access and operation, in real time and based on the latest technologies . The repository has been adapted for users with various levels of experience, in accordance with the current user experience (UX) trends, providing access on personal computers as well as other devices, e.g. tablets, smartphones and smart TVs.
